Lawless set for Luton return
Alex Lawless should return to the Luton squad for the visit of Dagenham.
The midfielder missed the win at Hartlepool on Saturday after starting and scoring against Southend the previous weekend.
"Alex is training today [Monday]. It was nothing to do with the injuries he's had, it was the other leg where he just felt quite tired, so we had time to address that," said Hatters boss John Still at his pre-match press conference.
The return of Lawless aside, Still thinks the rest of the squad will remain the same. Fraser Franks (hernia), Jake Howells (stomach), Curtley Williams and Paul Connolly are all back in training following their respective injuries but are not yet ready for a return to first-team contention.
Dagenham captain Abu Ogogo is suspended after his red card in the 1-0 defeat to Newport on Saturday.
Striker Rhys Murphy is closing in on a return after a long-term hip injury but is unlikely to feature as he regains fitness.
Luke Howell is out with a groin problem and Joss Labadie is still struggling.
Boss Wayne Burnett told the official site: "We're going to have to patch the team up going into Luton and be in a positive frame of mind, we have the potential to have Labadie out, Luke Howell and Abu Ogogo out, which is three out of five of our midfielders out."
