No new worries for Luton

Luton boss Nathan Jones has no fresh injury worries as they prepare to host Colchester on Boxing Day.

Left-backs Alan Sheehan and Dan Potts missed last weekend's win at Blackpool through injury and remain doubtful. James Justin, who signed a new two-and-a-half year deal with the club on Thursday, and Olly Lee deputised and should retain their places.

Striker Isaac Vassell, who also signed a new contract this week, is pushing for a start after dropping to the bench against the Seasiders.

The Hatters are still without Danny Green (leg) and Nathan Doyle (Achilles).

Colchester boss John McGreal could call upon new signing Jermaine Grandison as his side look to extend their unbeaten run to five games at Kenilworth Road.

The former Shrewsbury defender has agreed a deal until the end of the season to strengthen McGreal's preferred system of three centre-backs and may earn a starting spot while Lloyd Doyley is pushing for a start after returning to the bench following a thigh injury.

Matt Briggs, who has not played since May due to a hip injury, has returned to training but is still some way off from making the matchday squad.

A long-term Achilles problem continues to keep Doug Loft out while Chris Porter (hamstring) and Luke Prosser (knee) remain unavailable.
