The charge relates to the midfielder's behaviour after the final whistle in the controversial 3-3 draw against Bradford at the start of January. Manager Mick Harford has also been fined £1,000 for his conduct and comments he made to referee Trevor Kettle at the final whistle and to the press after the game. Nicholls' suspension starts on April 7, meaning he will still be available for Luton's next two League Two games and the Johnstone's Paint Trophy final at Wembley against Scunthorpe on April 5. The League Two club have also been fined £2,000 and charged with failure to control its players following the award of a last-minute penalty against the Bantams and warned about their future conduct.
