Harford retaining survival hope

The Hatters dominated possession at Kenilworth Road but goals from Reuben Reid and Drewe Broughton put an end to Luton's three-game winning streak, and they remain 11 points from safety in League Two. This weekend's trip to Wembley for the Johnstone's Paint Trophy final against Scunthorpe will provide a brief respite from their league troubles, but Harford refuses to concede defeat. "We'll go to Wembley upbeat with our chests out and we'll try to win the game but then it'll be down to the nitty gritty and we have to win all of our last six games it's as simple as that," he said. "The workrate, commitment and effort was there for all to see. I'll get the players up for the next seven games. "We have to win all our games and hope others mess up but if we play like we did here and cut out the silly mistakes I think we can still do it."
