The troubled Hatters beat 10-man Brighton 4-3 on penalties after a 1-1 draw on Tuesday night to seal their place in the competition's final at Wembley on Sunday April 5.[LNB]The Kenilworth Road side are facing the prospect of non-league football next term after a pre-season 30-point deduction left Luton battling against a third successive relegation before the season had even started, which made the achievement all the sweeter for Harford.[LNB]"It's deserved this Wembley appearance. The players deserve it with the way we've played in this competition and we want to go on and win it now," said Harford.[LNB]"But the fans have played a massive part in terms of backing the team in the situation we're in. The league tally of points hasn't been what we expected or what I expected and I'm sure the fans feel the same way.[LNB]"This will give the players a massive lift and hopefully it will help us lift our performances for the next 17 games. We need to win seven or eight of our next 10 games to put ourselves in a position and if we play like we did here I think we can do it. I'll never give up."[LNB]As a consequence of getting to Wembley, Luton's League Two fixture at home to Wycombe on Saturday April 4 will have to be rescheduled.[LNB][LNB]
