Harford blasts ref after Bees draw

Rossi Jarvis cancelled out Adam Birchall's first-half strike to earn a point for the Hatters but Harford was left reeling when the Bees were awarded a penalty 15 minutes from time following Sol Davis' trip on Albert Adomah. Luton goalkeeper Dean Brill was on hand to save Paul Furlong's spot-kick before Hatters' skipper Kevin Nicholls was sent off for a second bookable offence following a scuffle with Yannick Bolasie. Harford said: "It was never ever a penalty in a million years, it's another outrageous decision made by an official. He [Adomah] just fell over, he was cheating and Dean Brill made a fantastic save. "The sending off of Nicholls was nothing, the players shook hands, there was no malice when they fell to the ground and just a bit of shoving. "At this stage of the season to send someone off it's absolutely outrageous, it's another game Kevin is disappointed with because he just wants to play football - he's devastated in there. Second half we controlled the game, bossed the game and created the better chances."
