Xoloitzcuintles Tijuan have launched an ambitious bid to sign David Beckham.

Mega-rich French side PSG are favourites to sign the 36-year-old, who will be a free agent after playing for LA Galaxy in the MLS Cup Final against Houston Dynamo on November 20.

But Beckham's concern about uprooting his young family from the United States has alerted top-flight Mexican side Xoloitzcuintles Tijuan, according to reports in Mexico. And they hope to tempt the midfielder with the offer of a 1m-a-month pay packet and a private jet to and from games.

Tottenham have also been linked with Beckham.
