Major League Soccer regular-season champion Los Angeles Galaxy, trying to win a playoff title in English midfielder David Beckham's last season, will play in Manila in December, according to the team.
The Galaxy will face the Philippines national squad on December 3 at Rizal Memorial Stadium as part of an Asia-Pacific tour. The Galaxy will then travel to Australia where they will face the Melbourne Victory on December 6.
It will be the fourth Asian trip for the Galaxy but their first since 2008. The Galaxy are 2-3 with four draws in Asia, including a win and two draws in a 2008 pre-season tour that featured stops in China, Hong Kong and South Korea.
