Changes likely for Lions and Queens

Livingston will include new signings Craig Sives and Nejc Mevlja against visitors Queen of the South, if international clearance comes through.

However, the Lions lost two promising youngsters this week as Coll Donaldson moved to QPR and Stefan Scougall joined Sheffield United.

Manager John McGlynn may be forced into further changes as Simon Mensing, Kyle Jacobs and Andrew Barrowman all face fitness tests.

McGlynn said: "I watched Queen of the South go down to nine men in midweek but they still played in a very organised fashion. The games between us this season has seen 10 goals shared equally but I would settle for a 1-0 win this time."

Queen of the South's 1-1 draw against Morton in midweek came at a cost as goalkeeper Zander Clark misses out with a thigh strain so Jim Atkinson will play in goal.

Iain Russell is suspended after being sent off at Cappielow and Chris Higgins is also banned, while Derek Young remains out following toe surgery.

Manager Jim McIntyre said: "We are forced into changes but if I get the same level of display from 11 players that I got from the nine that played in the second half on Wednesday I will be delighted."
