Bairns are bouncing

Falkirk recorded a third straight league win as they came from behind to beat 10-man Livingston 2-1 at the Almondvale Stadium.

The visitors came close to an opener on 19 minutes when David Weatherston was unfortunate to see his effort come back off a post.

Jesus Garcia Tena responded for the hosts soon after but could not beat Michael McGovern with a towering header.

However, they did take the lead on 26 minutes after referee Brian Colvin awarded a penalty for Darren Dods' challenge on Daniel Mullen.

Striker Iain Russell stepped up to convert it for his 17th goal of the season.

The Bairns levelled things up just after the hour mark when Sean Higgins turned in a cross from Dods.

They were gifted the lead on 73 minutes after Jason Talbot could only turn Thomas Grant's delivery into his own net, before Russell was shown a second yellow card for a challenge on Kieran Duffie.
