Borussia Dortmund striker Mohamed Zidan's father has claimed that a number of Premier League teams are keen on his son's services.
The Egypt international impressed at the Africa Cup of Nations last month, helping his nation claim the sought after prize for a third consecutive time.
On the power of his fine performances, the 28-year-old's father, Abdullah, has suggested that England's elite are fighting it out for his signature.
Speaking to Egyptian station Dream TV, Abdullah Zidan said: "There are clubs like Arsenal, Barcelona and Manchester United that have asked his agent about Mohamed.
"Mohamed has a contract at Dortmund until 2012, but he has a clause allowing him to leave the club at the end of the season for a certain amount of money."
