Wolves linked with Reds flop

Wolverhampton Wanderers have been linked with Paul Konchesky. Konchesky didn't make a single first team appearance once Kenny Dalglish returned as manager and finished the season on loan at Nottingham Forest. With Liverpool being linked with Gael Clichey and Jose Enrique it is clear Konchesky has no future at Anfield. Wolves attempted to sign the left-back in January, but were prevented from doing so by Premier League rules which prevent a player from appearing for three clubs in the same season. They are expected to make a new offer for Konchesky but the Reds have no chance of making back the £3.5m they paid Fulham for the former England international.
