Wilson wary of Cobblers threat

Liverpool defender Danny Wilson is aware he and his team-mates cannot afford to underestimate the threat posed by npower League Two side Northampton in Wednesday's Carling Cup third-round tie at Anfield. The two sides are separated by 68 league places but with Red boss Roy Hodgson fielding a team made up of fringe players and reserves - of whom Wilson is one - there is always the prospect of an upset. However, the former Rangers defender, who along with goalkeeper Brad Jones will make his first-team debut against the Cobblers, is determined not to let that happen as he believes Liverpool can go all the way in this competition. "It would be fantastic to get to Wembley," said the 18-year-old. "We have just got to take it one step at a time. There are no easy ties as cup football is a one-off. "Sometimes it's tough playing against a team from a lower league because this is their cup final and they are out to impress, and you know they will put everything into the game. "We won't take our foot off the gas as we know complacency can sometimes kick in."
