Defender Danny Wilson is looking forward to his Liverpool debut tomorrow.[LNB] The 18-year-old centre-half, signed from Rangers for an initial £2million in the summer, has already been told by manager Roy Hodgson he will start against Northampton in the third round of the Carling Cup as he looks to rotate his squad.[LNB]He may be lining up at left-back rather than his accustomed central position but that will not diminish the occasion.[LNB]"To start a game for the first time is special and I am pleased the manager thinks I am ready," said Wilson.[LNB]"I was an unused substitute against Rabotnicki (in a Europa League qualifier) in our first home game of the season and the crowd were buzzing and there was a great atmosphere.[LNB]"So to play for the first time is something I am really looking forward to.[LNB]"I had never been to Anfield before that and I really enjoyed being part of it.[LNB]"It was good to see how the crowd reacts and get behind the team."[LNB]
