William Gallas hails Tottenham's fighting spirit after Liverpool comeback

Tottenham captain William Gallas praised the fighting spirit of his side after their come-from-behind 2-1 win at home to Liverpool.[LNB]A week on from their dramatic comeback at Arsenal, Harry Redknapp's men did it the hard way again, recovering from Martin Skertl's opener to take the points.[LNB]Skertl inadvertently put them on their way with an own goal, with Aaron Lennon then netting the winner after Jermain Defoe had missed a penalty.[LNB] Captain's praise: William Gallas hailed his side's tenacity against Liverpool[LNB]'It was difficult for us, we did a good job today,' said Gallas.[LNB]'We had to fight to win the game. It's the Premier League, when you play Liverpool it's not easy, we showed everyone what we can do and I hope we can carry on.[LNB]'I came here to play football and win games. I'm very happy, we're winning games with good spirit and with good players. [LNB]'We have to believe in ourselves and hope to win more games.'[LNB]Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp admitted that his men had rode their luck before taking the points.[LNB]'They started well and were dangerous, it was a fantastic game,' he said.[LNB] Sidelined: Jamie Carragher is set for a lengthy lay off after dislocating his shoulder at White Hart Lane[LNB]'Liverpool played their part, they were always a threat. They had opportunities to score again, they had good chances, we became disorganised.[LNB]'But we got after them a bit better, had shots blocked, missed a penalty and eventually managed to get the goal.'[LNB]Meanwhile, Liverpool manager Roy Hodgson revealed that defender Jamie Carragher is facing a lengthy spell on the sidelines with a dislocated shoulder.[LNB]Celebrating his 450th Premier League appearance, Carragher was withdrawn in the second half.[LNB]'It's very bad,' Hodgson said. [LNB]'He's dislocated his shoulder.
