Who can replace Liverpool's Captain Marvel at the end of the season?

With Liverpool Captain Steven Gerrard set to leave the reds at the end of the current season, just who is there to fill his magical boots?

If you look at the current crop of midfielders at LFC, then there are quite a few possibilities.

Jordan Henderson, he's current Vice Captain at Liverpool and no doubt has the talent and is already an England international. He could be the future without Gerrard in the team.

Then you have the little Brazilian magician, Philippe Coutinho. A player with mesmerizing skills and abilities, excellent creativity and superb passer of the ball. A possible world class talent in the future.

Joe Allen, although a good squad player doesn't fill me with confidence, and the same goes for Lucas Leiva. It also seems that Rodger’s prefers Emre Can in a defensive role after some brilliant performances alongside Skrtel and Sakho this season.

If Liverpool are to be successful in the future, these young gifted players must remain at Anfield and develop their already immense talent even further to replace the greatest midfielder in Liverpool's history! (In my opinion anyway).

Even if the manager delves into the transfer market to replace Stevie G, He will find it very difficult to replace such a Kop legend.
