West Ham set to sign Miralem Sulejmani from Ajax

West Ham are the favourites to sign Ajax forward Miralem Sulejmani as the Dutch giants prepare to cash-in on their record signing before the transfer window closes.The Serbia international has struggled to settle in Amsterdam since his ?13.8million arrival from Heerenveen in 2008 and is desperate for a move.

Market moves: Hammers boss Sam Allardyce is keen to add more firepower to his squad   West Ham are also keen to bring in one more striker before the window slams shut and are expected to make a return bid for Liverpool misfit Andy Carroll.Nicky Maynard and Carlton Cole could be moved on to help finance any potential arrivals.Championship side Cardiff are believed to be interested in ex-Bristol City frontman Maynard while Cole is understood to have interested a host of Premier League clubs and in Turkey.
