After the Hillsborough tragedy, tributes rolled in for the 96 victims who died in the stadium disaster. One of the most touching moments came when AC Milan hosted Real Madrid on April 19, 1989 - four days after the shocking events in Sheffield. Tribute: AC Milan fans Six minutes into the European Cup clash at the San Siro - the time when Liverpool's FA Cup semi-final with Nottingham Forest was abandoned - the referee stopped play for a minute's silence to mark Hillsborough. And in a poignant moment, the Milan fans broke into a rendition of Kop anthem 'You'll Never Walk Alone' to salute the fans who lost their lives.
