VIDEO: Hodgson apologises to Benitez

After his public war of words with former Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez, Roy Hodgson has chosen to apologise ahead of his side's Europa League clash with Napoli this evening.

The former Fulham boss was the subject of a cryptic Benitez assualt during a press conference earlier in the week after he had accused the Spaniard of wasteful spending during his time at Anfield.

But Hodgson has now retracted his previous statements, hoping to put an end to a seemingly ongoing blame-game between Rafa and those now working for the club.
