Besides scoring goals, there's two things football fans associate with Peter Crouch - his lofty height and his wacky dance moves.[LNB]Who can forget in the build-up to the 2006 World Cup in Germany, he combined all three of those elements to briefly become England's most celebrated star.[LNB]The Portsmouth striker gave crowds a chuckle by performing a robot dance every time he scored a goal in the warm-up friendlies before retiring the fan-favourite celebration.[LNB]But three years on, Crouch is donning his dancing shoes once again, throwing a few shapes in this hilarious advert for mobile network T-Mobile.[LNB][LNB]In a new internet video, which appears on YouTube, the suited and booted £England international is seen dancing around the changing room as he gives new players a pep talk on the importance of celebrating goals.[LNB] The only way is up: Peter Crouch swaps The Robot for the T-Mobile dance[LNB] Pompey's Crouch joins Keane in blast at Liverpool boss Benitez[LNB]Caretaker Hart prepared to stop at Pompey for the rest of the season[LNB]PORTSMOUTH FC NEWS FROM ACROSS THE WEB[LNB][LNB]The video appears to be a take-off of recent the T-Mobile ad, which features hundreds of people dancing during rush hour in London's Liverpool Street station.[LNB]As Yazz's 1988 hit The Only Way Is Up kicks off, 'Crouchie' begins a dance that would make John Travolta's Saturday Night Fever character Tony Manero proud.[LNB]He explains to the young players: 'Football is a simple game lads. It's not about tactics. It's not about formations. It has become an internet phenomenon.[LNB]'Some well-known faces, renowned for their moves, have joined our dance craze in some really fun virals.'[LNB]Explaining the origins of his Robot dance, Peter said: 'I said to Jamie Carragher, "I'm going to do something stupid on the way to the toilet."[LNB]'So I did The Robot, which was something I used to mess around doing as a kid and meanwhile Carra' tapped the cameraman to get it on tape. I said, "If I score, I'll do it again." It escalated from there...'[LNB]When Prince William visited the England team's training ground several days later, Peter was embarrassed when the young royal asked him to perform The Robot for him.[LNB]Peter said: 'What was I supposed to do? The future king's asking you to do something, you do it, right?[LNB]'To be honest, it's just one move out of a repertoire.
