Liverpool have a mountain to climb to overturn Chelsea's 3-1 advantage in tonight's Champions League quarter-final second leg. They have form in achieving the improbable, though, most notably when they came back from 3-0 down to beat AC Milan on penalties in the 2005 final in Istanbul. They can also take heart from these comebacks...[LNB] Quarter-final 2006-07 Man Utd 7 AS Roma 1 (8-3 on agg) United looked to be on their way after slipping to a 2-1 first leg defeat in the Italian capital, but a scintillating performance at Old Trafford, with goals from Carrick (2), Ronaldo (2), Smith, Rooney and Evra, destroyed Roma. [LNB][LNB] Second round 2004-05 Chelsea 4 Barcelona 2 (5-4 on agg) Trailing 2-1 after the first leg, Mourinho's men raced into a three-goal lead in just 19 minutes at Stamford Bridge.
