Veteran Hamann snubs Sven reunion: I'm Notts leaving the Premier League
Big time: Hamann does not want to drop down to League Two
Dietmar Hamann has turned down the chance to join Sven Goran Eriksson at Notts County.
Former England boss Eriksson, director of football at the League Two club, offered Hamann a player-coach role.
But the 35-year-old former Liverpool midfielder, a free agent after leaving Manchester City last month, said: 'I spoke to Sven but I'd like to stay in the Premier League.'
Hamann, with over 60 caps for Germany, had previously been linked with Championship sides Preston and QPR.
