Liverpool have denied rumours that they have made an offer for Mark Van Bommel. The Dutch midfielder is out of contract in the summer and unlikely to sign a new deal with reigning German champions Bayern Munich. His agent Mino Raiola appears keen to drum up interest in his client, claming: "I know about Liverpool's interest, but other offers are currently more interesting. "I cannot guarantee 100% that he will stay (with Bayern), but there is no rush with negotiations - I just have to do a good job. "I have got to find Mark the perfect club and we still have enough time for that." However, if Liverpool are expressing an interest they aren't prepared to do so in public, and have denied making any enquiries for the player.
