England under 17's got their World Cup campaign off to a fine start. England beat Rwanda 2-0 in their opening game at the under 17's World Cup in Mexico last night. Liverpool winger Raheem Sterling scored the second goal. There was a big Liverpool presence in the England squad with Brad Smith also in the team at left-back and Matty Regan, Adam Morgan, Jack Dunn and Tyrell Belford on the bench. Regan replaced Smith 20 minutes from the end after the defender was on the receiving end of a nasty tackle. Morgan was introduced for the final five minutes as an extra striker, with the game still goalless, while Dunn and Belford remained on the bench.
