Emile Heskey – Michael Owen
Signed from Leicester in the March 2000, big things were expected of Heskey. And he didn't disappoint, in the three seasons Emile Heskey and Michael Owen spent together they qualified for Europe consecutively and won the League Cup. Thanks largely to the 105 goals scored between them. The pair were a typical big man little man strike duo, Heskey holding up the ball and linking with Owen to alow him to get in the box and finish off chances whilst scoring his fair share of goals at the same time.
