Remember the neverending Steven Gerrard speculation this summer. It's back. And this time the club showing Stevie Gee a bit of leg is AC Milan.

According to caughtoffside.com, the Italian behemoths are plotting a £35 million January move for the Liverpool and England midfielder.

The 30-year-old Gerrard is seen as the ideal man to fire Milan's title challenge in Serie A, and with Liverpool struggling he could seriously be tempted.

Meanwhile, former England boss Terry Venables could be in line for a shock return to the game as manager of Wales.

The 67-year-old is being lined up to replace John Toshack, according to a report in the Daily Mirror, and could take over in time to lead Wales against England on March 26th.

The Mirror suggest Venables has communicated his interest to the Welsh FA, who are seriously considering him for the role.
