Tottenham's Vedran Corluka targeted by Liverpool and Juventus

Liverpool and Juventus have made enquiries for Vedran Corluka after Tottenham intimated he could leave White Hart Lane.[LNB]The Croatian international has hardly figured for Tottenham this season making just four appearances in the Barclays Premier League.[LNB]Harry Redknapp is looking to trim his squad before bringing in reinforcements this month and Corluka has become surplus to requirements following the improved form of Alan Hutton.[LNB] Heading out: Vedran Corluka is set to leave White Hart Lane[LNB]Liverpool are in a strong position to land the 24-year-old as Director of Football Strategy Damien Comolli signed Corluka for Tottenham in August 2008.[LNB]Roy Hodgson's faltering side need cover at right-back, given Glen Johnson's poor form, while the versatile Corluka could also play in a central position.[LNB]Serie A side Juventus are also looking to bolster their defence and have also placed Corluka high on their wishlist.[LNB]Meanwhile, Kyle Walker is in line for a dramatic Aston Villa debut at his first club Sheffield United on Saturday after arriving on loan from Tottenham. The 20-year old right-back passed a medical and put pen to paper on a season-long deal that will lift some of the gloom surrounding under-pressure Villa manager Gerard Houllier.
