Torres's agent denies rumours

Fernando Torres's agent has denied saying the striker is looking to leave Liverpool. Jose Antonio Martin was quoted in right-wing racist rag the Daily Mail as saying Torres would be leaving for another English club once he returns from the World Cup. However, Martin has now claimed the quotes attributed to him are fiction. "For many months I have not spoken to the England press because their quotes are totally false. Now is not the moment to speak about this issue because Torres is focused completely on his work for Spain," said the agent. “After the World Cup ([player-agency company] Bahia Internacional will possibly meet with the player but the truth is that Fernando has signed a deal with Liverpool which is for the present and the future."
