Fernando Torres wants to win a trophy with Liverpool next season after signing an improved contract at Anfield. The Spanish striker has been rewarded for a stunning two seasons with the Reds by agreeing enhanced terms with the Premier League runners-up. Torres' contract still runs until 2013, but the former Atletico Madrid ace now has a further year's option tagged on to his deal. He has become a firm fans' favourite since his arrival from Atletico two years ago and admits there is a 'special bond' with the club and their supporters. Now, having pushed Manchester United close in the title race, Torres wants to celebrate his new deal by winning his first piece of silverware. "I want to remain here," said Torres on his official website. "Since arriving at Liverpool I feel that there's a bond and commitment. "We listened to the club's offer, which came on the back of two seasons of positive work. "My objective now is to win a trophy with Liverpool next year." Torres has scored 50 goals in 83 appearances for the Reds and has formed a devastating understanding with captain Steven Gerrard.
