Fernando Torres refused to talk about his Liverpool future after being informed his agent had assured fans he is going nowhere this summer.[LNB] Torres has been linked with a move away from Anfield this summer after a season which has seen the club's problems increase on and off the field.[LNB]Former chairman David Moores has called for Tom Hicks and George Gillett to sell up quickly after more than three torrid years of in-fighting and Torres accepts the ownership issue needs to be addressed.[LNB]"That is one of the ways we need to improve," said the Spain international.[LNB]"I know the situation, I speak to the chief executive (Christian Purslow) and Rafa (Benitez) every week and I am aware of what is going on.[LNB]"I have tried to stay apart from them and re-focus on the national team so when the World Cup ends, we'll see what happens."[LNB]However, while Torres was happy to talk about Liverpool's future, he was less keen to talk about his own.[LNB]His agent Jose Antonio Peton said the 26-year-old would be remaining at Anfield, telling a Spanish radio station: "For the moment I can assure fans that Fernando will continue at Liverpool next season."[LNB]But Torres himself did not add to those comments when informed of his agent's quotes on Wednesday.[LNB]"I didn't read them," he said.[LNB]"The most important thing for me now is the World Cup. My future is the World Cup and then we'll see later.[LNB]"For now and hopefully for the next two months the only thing I am thinking about and talking about is the World Cup."[LNB]
