[LNB]The new deal includes an option for a further year's extension which could see the 25-year-old stay with the Reds until 2014.[LNB]Manager Rafa Benitez said: "Fernando is one of the best strikers in the game[LNB]and, at his age, can only get better.[LNB]"Every major side would want him in their team, but he has shown how much he wants to achieve success at Liverpool by committing his future to the club.[LNB]"He's a special talent, but still has the hunger to improve his game."[LNB]Torres struggled with injuries last season, but in his maiden campaign in England he became the first Liverpool player since Robbie Fowler in 1995/96 to score more than 20 league goals.[LNB]
