It may be a little bit harsh to label Andy Carroll as one of the worst January signings ever, after all he is just 22 years old.
He certainly has not set the world alight at Anfield just yet and it is hard to justify the £35million paid for him a year ago.
His form may improve but at the moment Carroll's transfer from Newcastle to Liverpool will be considered one of the worst panic buys of all time.
