Fernando Torres may no longer be a Liverpool player, but Stoke manager Tony Pulis is more than aware of how dangerous the Reds remain without the Spaniard.[LNB]Torres joined Chelsea in a British-record move on Monday night, with Liverpool bringing in Ajax frontman Luis Suarez and Newcastle`s Andy Carroll as replacements to a combined tune of almost ?60million.[LNB]That alone is enough to warn Pulis of how tough a job his side face at Anfield tonight, let alone the other players they already have in their squad.[LNB] Dangerous: Tony Pulis sends out a warning to his side ahead of their trip to Anfield[LNB] 'Although they have lost Torres, Suarez is a top, top replacement and they have a number of other players who can hurt you,' Pulis told the club's official website, www.stokecityfc.com.[LNB]The last time the two sides met, Liverpool were midway through Roy Hodgson`s ill-fated and brief spell in charge and left the Britannia Stadium on the end of a 2-0 beating.[LNB]Pulis counts that as one of the most memorable nights of his time with Stoke, but accepts that under new manager Kenny Dalglish, Liverpool will not be such an easy scalp this time around.[LNB]'Liverpool are playing with a lot more confidence, a lot more willingness to do what they are capable of as a group of players under Kenny and they have certainly turned things around,' he added.[LNB] 'Top replacement': Pulis has praised Liverpool's signing of Luis Suarez[LNB] 'Beating them at our place was a special occasion, but I think a lot of sides were getting tremendous results against them back then.[LNB]'Things will be different this time, but what we have to do is go there and give it our best shot. We know it's going to be tough.[LNB]'Anfield is one of the special places to go and after what has happened there recently, it will no doubt be another big occasion.'[LNB]Stoke are waiting on the fitness of defender Danny Higginbotham (hamstring) ahead of the game, but Andy Wilkinson has a back injury and could be replaced by Marc Wilson.
