Tom Hicks wins right to sue RBS over Liverpool sale damages

Former Liverpool owner Tom Hicks was told yesterday to 'put up or shut up' in his bid to sue over the club's ?300million sale last year. [LNB]The Texan lost a High Court battle to overturn an injunction preventing him launching legal action in the United States without approval from an English court.[LNB]Mr Justice Floyd said: 'The disputes concern an English asset, duties owed by English directors under English law to English companies and corporate governance arrangements governed by English law.[LNB] Court battle: Former Liverpool owner Hicks granted right to sue RBS for damages[LNB]'I think the time has come when they need to state their case or accept that they do not have one.'
