The ultimate insult: Tevez linked with move to Liverpool or Man City after Old Trafford snub

Carlos Tevez could be set to cause uproar among Manchester United supporters by signing for either Liverpool or Manchester City in a £25million deal this summer. The Argentine striker, whose two-year 'lease' contract at Old Trafford expires next month, is believed to be so upset at United's failure to offer him a new deal that he would consider signing for one of the club's deadliest rivals. According to The Times, one other English club and two more abroad - one of which is reported to be Real Madrid - have also agreed to pay the fee demanded by Kia Joorabchian, the owner of Tevez's economic rights and, unless United suddenly change their approach, it appears likely that the 25-year-old will be leaving.
