The Jury: Liverpool FC fans reflect on a season to forget at Anfield

JOHN CRUCES, Kirkby[LNB]OUR anthem quotes 'At the end of the storm, is a golden sky'. Hopefully our golden sky will be new owners as it's safe to say we have pretty much had enough of lies and false promises.[LNB]The season has been one long storm with little to shout about, granted there were some high points - like a derby double, which is always welcome![LNB]Being realistic though the biggest measure of the season was to go from a close second to a distant seventh, losing so many games along the way. Not good enough is too polite to sum the season up.[LNB]While everyone is allowed a bad season, it can only be accepted if we know where we went wrong and how to fix it. If we hide behind the 'unlucky' line then it will get worse before it will get better. [LNB]Hands have to be held up, mistakes admitted and weaknesses addressed - if so we could well climb that hill. If not we will continue to fall down it. It's going to be a long summer and big decisions have to be made for Liverpool FC. Here's hoping they're the right ones.[LNB]ANTHONY DUNN, Wavertree[LNB]SWAPPING Arbeloa, Alonso and Hyypia for Johnson, Aquilani and Kyrgiakos was massive. There has been little return on three of our most consistent men.[LNB]Playing Lucas with Mascherano all year cost us too. It was blatant in September it doesn't work and Gerrard has been wasted up front.[LNB]In previous seasons Benitez has been unpredictable. This year you could read him like a book.[LNB]This squad has good players; it just needs a few strong additions and a fresh approach. The players need to enjoy their football too. They look miserable or nervous and the manager is responsible for that.[LNB]There are about 15 impostors at the club. They are making decisions on and off the field that are dragging us down. The sale must happen now. If someone can breathe life into us over the summer we will react but it needs to happen now. We are wounded, but it won't take much to turn it around.
