The Jury: Liverpool FC fans look forward to the Merseyside derby

ROBERT GILLIES, Aigburth[LNB]WE need a cool head this week against Everton who will come out of the blocks flying into every tackle in an attempt to unsettle us and disrupt the momentum we have been building.[LNB]Fourteen out of the last 18 points is good - and it could have been better. We need the commitment and skill shown against Spurs and in the second half against Bolton.[LNB]Rafa should name an attacking team and that means recalling Daniel Agger, if fit, and returning Jamie Carragher to the centre as his partner.[LNB]Give Martin Kelly his derby debut and keep faith in Alberto Aquilani as he will have something to prove.[LNB]Fitness aside, the biggest problem with the Reds has been confidence and that is where the crowd can play a part in urging the team on from the start.[LNB]PAUL O'LEARY, Allerton[LNB]A FAMILIAR trend of story has been appearing in the papers over the last week or so, this being the upcoming fixture against the auld enemy is the latest 'most important derby for years!'[LNB]They are all important![LNB]There is always a different feeling in the air the week leading up to a derby match, especially at work.[LNB]The jibes become football related and you're already anticipating the verbal taunts coming your way should the worst happen.[LNB]All that being said and explicitly without stating the obvious, a win on Saturday is massive! Manchester City are breathing down our necks with two games in hand, we need their opponents Hull to do us a favour on Saturday.[LNB]Villa and Spurs are playing each other which is a bonus; we could be fourth come Saturday evening.[LNB]Our form is creeping up ever so slightly; a strong performance will be needed to pick up three points on Saturday.
