Suarez to stay?

So, poor Brendan’s got a job on for the next 48 hours. Suarez as finally met up with the rest of the squad and you'd think its only a matter of time before we know what's exactly happening regarding his future. Personally I would be doing what ever it takes to keep hold of our star man, as Liverpool simply can't afford to lose him in my opinion.

Watching Brendan’s interview with sky sports this morning he seemed surprisingly calm about the situation, weather he knows something we don't I’m not sure, but I think he understands he needs to convince Suarez that the only club for him is Liverpool.

The fact of the matter is Suarez is an amazing talent, you just can’t deny that, and if you take Messi and Ronaldo out of the equation its almost impossible to name a player that’s clearly better than him. So taking him out of this side, as much as I hate to say it, Liverpool are nowhere. Maybe, if Real Madrid are still interested, the Spanish giants could convince Rodgers to sell if we could get Higuain and ‘or’ Morata in part exchange.

Liverpool do not seem to be close on making any more further signings as yet, but I’d be quickly making a move on one of Liverpool's top summer targets in Christian Eriksen. The classy Danish playmaker would be a real coup for the reds and would ultimately show Liverpool’s ambition this season, which Suarez needs to see.

I think it’s safe to say if Liverpool don't make the Champions League next season then Suarez will split for sure, but he’s not gone yet, and if Rodgers can add to this improving Liverpool side and show is intent in fighting for a top four finish then they aren't going to be far away next season, for sure.
