The Uruguay ace will be in the news for a while longer with reports gathering steam and odds shortening for a move to Spanish giants and European champions Real Madrid in the summer.

Mundo Deportivo this morning reported that Barcelona have also made moves on the Liverpool forward and have met his release clause which stands at 85 million Euros, but an extra clause in the contract means Madrid and Barca could get the player for a cut price 65 million Euros. In fact with Liverpool's interest in Barcelona and Chile winger Alexis Sanchez, the Catalan giants could end up getting Suarez for as little as 35 million Euros.

This will be sure to put a major dent in Brendan Rodgers plans for the coming season with resources needing to be stretched to meet the demands of the Champions League. The forward was eager to leave Anfield last season with an offer from Arsenal on the table that saw Rodgers fight to keep the player in Liverpool and it looks likely he'll face a similar fight this summer with the Spanish giants coming in for the inform player.
