Striker deal still on
Liverpool are still set to sign Milan Jovanovic. Rafael Benitez had agreed a deal to bring the Serbian international to Anfield once his contract with Standard Liege expired this Summer. Despite Benitez leaving Liverpool this week, the transfer will still go ahead once Jovanovic gets his work permit.
