Star striker Torres denied summer break as Liverpool Thai up July tour

Liverpool are in advanced talks to visit Thailand this summer despite political unrest inthe country. And star striker Fernando Torres will have to join his team-mates on the trip just three weeks after playing for Spain in the Confederations Cup. [LNB]In November,  mass protests saw parliament surrounded and the country's main airport closed.[LNB]Despite this, talks have continued for Liverpool to play there before heading for a match in Singapore on July 26. A source said: 'There will be a contingency planwritten into the contract if things flare up.'[LNB]Although the Far East tour will be lucrative for Liverpool, there will be anxiety among fans about following their team to Bangkok.
