Spurs give up on Keane after Liverpool tell them they want £20.3m back in full

Tottenham Hotspur[LNB]have given up on attempting to bring Liverpool[LNB]striker Robbie Keane back to White Hart Lane in the transfer window.[LNB] The Reds have told Spurs they want their £20.3m fee back in full if they were to let the striker go back to North London and Harry Redknapp's side are not prepared to pay that sort of figure, according to The Independent.[LNB]Spurs tried to look at different options, including deals involving Aaron Lennon and Jermaine Jenas and the cancellation of the outstanding £11m balance payable to the White Hart Lane club on Keane's transfer.
