Spain finished as Group H winners. Spain but their shock opening defeat to Switzerland behind them to finish as group winners. Yesterday's 2-1 win over fellow qualifiers Chile saw them overtake the South Americans and win the group on goal difference. Fernando Torres played just under an hour of this one before being subsituted as he still lacks match fitness following his return from injury.
