Stoke produced a solid defensive display to hold off Liverpool and take a hard-earned point away from Anfield after a 0-0 draw on Sunday.
However, their task was made easier when referee Lee Mason missed a stamp by Robert Huth on Luiz Suarez early on in the Premier League clash which would have resulted in the German's dismissal.
Liverpool created chances and hit the woodwork on three occasions via Raheem Sterling, Suarez and Martin Skrtel.
But Stoke held on as Liverpool continue their wait for a first home league win under Brendan Rodgers.
