Skrtel injury blow hits Liverpool

Liverpool defender Martin Skrtel has a broken metatarsal in his right foot.The 25-year-old Slovakian international was stretchered off during his team's 4-1 aggregate win over Unirea Urziceni in the Europa League on Thursday. Liverpool boss Rafael Benitez said: "It was a good result but then we had the bad news about Martin. "He's had X-rays and they confirmed he has a broken metatarsal.
