iverpool defender Martin Skrtel is hoping the Reds can build on their weekend win over Blackburn with another victory at Bolton on Sunday. [LNB] Roy Hodgson's men secured a 2-1 victory over Blackburn to move three points above Wolves and West Ham at the bottom of the Premier League, and another three points this weekend could put them in mid-table.[LNB]Skrtel knows the Reds need to start a winning run and is confident fans will start to see an improvement in their performances after their second league win of the season.[LNB]He told the Liverpool Echo: "A team like Liverpool has to be all about winning and I hope that we will carry it on from Blackburn on to the Bolton game.[LNB]"I think our performances will get better and better now. In the past few months there has been some trouble around the club (with the owners) and now we know the situation is done.[LNB]"That means it is all about the players now. We have got to carry on and work hard on the pitch for the club. We have got to show our quality and our heart and keep going so we can improve."[LNB]Prior to the Blackburn win, the Reds secured a creditable goalless draw against Napoli in the Europa League and Skrtel is pleased with the way Hodgson's side have performed in the last two games.[LNB]"We really needed three points because we have been under pressure and everyone was expecting us to beat Blackburn - thankfully we got them," he said.[LNB]"The game in Napoli was a good performance, we created some chances but couldn't score. It was a small step and hopefully things will be better now because of these moments.[LNB]"The league table has not been nice to look at but, when you look at it, the teams are all very close together and if we keep winning, we will be going higher."[LNB]Skrtel also hailed defensive partner Sotirios Kyrgiakos, who scored in the victory over Rovers.[LNB]"Things are going really well with Soto - he is a great player and a good guy," he said.[LNB]"He is very good in the set-pieces and wins everything in the air."
