The 22-year-old Mali international has reportedly become frustrated with a lack of starting opportunities at Anfield and is now in advanced negotiations with the Italian club.
Sissoko has started just six Premier League games this season and is often overlooked by Reds boss Rafael Benitez in favour of Javier Mascherano.
The French-born midfielder also worked under now Juve coach Claudio Ranieri during his time at Valencia.
"It isn't done yet, but my agent is in advanced discussions with the club," Sissoko told French radio.
"I hope they will reach an agreement, but I'm very happy a club like that wants me to come.
"I want a new challenge. The last few months at Liverpool haven't gone as I would have wished.
"But that's football and now I want to move on to a new stage of my life and flourish on the pitch."
Sissoko joined Liverpool from Valencia for £5.6million in July 2005 and has made 85 appearances.
