Sissoko remains calm

Liverpool midfielder Momo Sissoko has shrugged off suggestions that the Reds are struggling to find top form, following their shock Champions League defeat by Marseille.

The 1-0 Anfield reverse left Liverpool with just one point from two group games and facing a fight to reach the knockout stages, but Sissoko rejects talk of a major problem in the camp.

He said: "We are very disappointed. We didn't play a good match, we were bad.

"I don't know how to explain. We didn't play well from the start when we weren't using the ball well.

"We gave the ball away too much and despite the problems they had, they ended up giving us problems.

"I had some difficult moments, but now we have to work, get our heads right. It is not a crisis, it is one of those matches that happen. You get games like that.

"We have to work hard in training. We are not worried. We have to lift our heads up, start again and look forward."
