Liverpool manager Rafael Benitez will not stand in Mo Sissoko's way if he wants to leave Anfield in this month's transfer window.
The 22-year-old Mali international midfielder enjoyed a successful first season with the Reds following his £5.6million switch from Valencia in the summer of 2005.
However, he has struggled to regain his best form since almost losing his sight after sustaining a serious eye injury last term and has been restricted to only six Premier League starts this season.
Sissoko says he is close to sealing a move to Juventus, but Benitez told Liverpool's official website: "We know we have two or three clubs asking about him and we'll try to find the best solution.
"It depends on if we find the right club and the right offer. We need to wait."
Sissoko had told Radio Montecarlo on Friday: "I'm still at Liverpool but I expect a big announcement in the next few days.
"My agent, Juve and Liverpool are working on my departure and my move to Turin is very close.
"I'm expecting good news any moment now, but I'm enthusiastic about beginning a new adventure in Italy."
