Sammy Lee warns his Liverpool stars to make sure they improve next term

Warning: Sammy Lee Sammy Lee has warned Liverpool's players to heed the lessons of 2002 when they finished runners-up but failed to make the next step up. Lee, assistant to Rafa Benitez, was a coach under Gerard Houllier in 2002. But in 2003 they dropped to fifth. He said: 'We're not happy because we have won nothing. The final bit is always the hardest.'Liverpool have been linked with Napoli attacking midfielder Ezequiel Lavezzi, 24.
